About Aiauto Cloud
A Hong Kong practice built around internal control reviews — the unglamorous work of checking whether authorisations, reconciliations, and exceptions behave as the policy says they should.
Origin
Aiauto Cloud grew from successive year-end seasons spent translating control theory into questions a payables clerk or treasury analyst can answer without a glossary. The practice sits in Central because that is where many of our clients’ ledgers, banks, and board packs already converge.
What we stand for
We believe a control is only as strong as the last person who performed it under time pressure. Our reviews favour observation and sample evidence over polished narratives. We write findings that name the process step, the sample tested, and the exposure — so remediation has somewhere concrete to start.
How we work with clients
Engagements begin with a short scoping conversation, not a multi-week discovery theatre. We agree which processes matter for the next reporting cycle, who owns them, and what “done” looks like for the audit committee. During fieldwork we keep a running issues log so surprises land early, not in the final meeting.
People
Our review teams combine financial auditing experience with practical familiarity of Hong Kong close calendars, bank confirmation habits, and the way multi-entity groups share shared-service centres across the border. Where a specialist skill is needed — for example deep payroll tax detail — we bring it in under clear terms rather than stretching beyond competence.
Relationship to statutory audit
We are not your statutory auditor. Our work is designed to strengthen the control environment those auditors will later evaluate. We coordinate timing when asked, and we never ask clients to choose between honesty with us and honesty with their appointed firm.
