Evidence packs that close remediation points

Closing a prior finding requires more than a revised policy PDF. Follow-up testing asks whether the new control operated after the change date.

What belongs in a remediation pack

• The original finding wording and rating
• Description of the fix and the go-live date
• A fresh population covering periods after go-live
• Samples with evidence of the control operating
• Confirmation that related system access or forms were updated

When packs arrive complete, remediation follow-up testing is short. When packs are mostly narrative, we spend the first days reconstructing populations — time better spent elsewhere.
